Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain data center infrastructure during weekend shifts, including servers, networking equipment, and power systems
- Execute scheduled maintenance tasks and emergency repairs with minimal downtime
- Coordinate with on-call engineers to resolve critical incidents within SLA requirements
- Document operational activities using ticketing systems and compliance protocols
- Conduct physical security rounds and environmental monitoring of facility
- Collaborate with weekday teams to ensure continuity of operations
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for weekend processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure support
- CompTIA Server+ or AWS/Azure certifications preferred
- Expertise in Linux/Windows server administration and network fundamentals
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong incident management and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog)
- Available to work 12-hour weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) with rotating weekdays
