Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekend inventory management and distribution logistics across 3 fulfillment centers
- Supplement weekday operations by processing high-priority orders and customer requests
- Lead cross-functional weekend teams of 5-7 associates in warehouse and transportation activities
- Implement real-time monitoring systems for weekend delivery performance metrics
- Conduct weekend facility safety audits and maintenance scheduling
- Optimize weekend staffing schedules to align with seasonal demand fluctuations
- Collaborate with weekday managers for seamless operational handovers
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management
- Proven experience managing weekend or shift-based teams
- Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and TMS (Transportation Management Systems)
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Strong problem-solving abilities for weekend operational challenges
- Excellent communication skills for weekend stakeholder coordination
- Flexibility to work Saturday/Sunday shifts with weekday availability for meetings
- Valid Illinois driver's license for occasional facility audits
