Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend night shift warehouse operations including inventory management and order fulfillment
- Enforce safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Train and mentor 5-8 team members on equipment operation and procedures
- Coordinate with day shift supervisors for seamless transition and handovers
- Monitor performance metrics and implement process improvements
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate critical issues to management
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance scheduling
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in warehouse/logistics
- Valid Forklift Operator certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and inventory systems
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Proficient in warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
