Responsibilities
- Oversee all weekend warehouse operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ weekend staff members, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance
- Optimize operational workflows using Lean Six Sigma principles to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Implement and maintain safety protocols ensuring OSHA compliance and accident prevention
- Analyze performance metrics and generate weekly reports for senior leadership review
- Coordinate cross-functional handoffs between weekend and weekday teams for operational continuity
- Manage weekend vendor relationships and troubleshoot operational challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of operations management experience in logistics or distribution
- Proven track record of leading weekend shifts and managing rotational schedules
- Strong proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data analysis tools
- OSHA certification and extensive knowledge of warehouse safety regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions under pressure
- Excellent communication abilities for coordinating across multiple departments
