Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise weekend shift teams (10-15 associates) to ensure efficient warehouse operations
- Monitor inventory management systems and coordinate with logistics team for optimal stock levels
- Implement safety protocols and conduct daily compliance inspections
- Train and mentor new associates on equipment operation and company procedures
- Resolve operational challenges and escalate issues to management as needed
- Generate shift reports and analyze performance metrics for continuous improvement
- Coordinate with weekday supervisors for seamless transition of operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing
- Strong proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- OSHA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating heavy machinery
- Ability to work flexible weekends (Friday-Sunday) and occasional holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
