Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmaps identifying disruptive AI, quantum, and biotech convergence points
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype future-proof solutions with 3-year commercial viability
- Conduct horizon scanning across 15+ emerging tech domains to identify strategic inflection points
- Develop patentable frameworks for ethical AI deployment in regulated industries
- Present future-state scenarios to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish innovation KPIs measuring adoption rates of 2026-ready technologies
- Partner with venture capital arms to scout and acquire pre-IPO quantum/AI startups
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with proven impact in AI/quantum commercialization
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Published thought leadership on tech disruption (IEEE, Nature, or equivalent)
- Track record of launching products with 5+ year market foresight
- Deep understanding of ethical AI frameworks and regulatory landscapes
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets for experimental tech initiatives
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Q#, Qiskit, etc.)
- Strong network with DARPA, MIT Media Lab, or similar innovation ecosystems
