Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and emerging trends
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and neurotech integration
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Present strategic frameworks to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging tech deployment (AI governance, biosecurity)
- Represent company at global tech summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in corporate R&D or tech strategy with 2026+ horizon planning experience
- Proven track record scaling emerging technologies from concept to commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI governance
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants (SBIR, DARPA, NSF)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE, WFS) or equivalent
