Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology adoption roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive tech threats/opportunities
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board of directors with data-driven insights
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 tech partners
- Mentor R&D teams on future-proofing product development cycles
- Author quarterly technology trend briefs for investor and stakeholder communications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or corporate innovation roles
- Expertise in forecasting emerging tech trends (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused initiatives with measurable ROI
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Strong quantitative skills with experience in market modeling and data analytics
- Exceptional communication abilities for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating previous strategic technology roadmaps or trend reports
