- Analyze emerging tech trends to identify billion-dollar market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering and design teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Create technology risk mitigation frameworks for regulatory compliance
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio for rapid prototyping and validation
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Proven track record in scaling tech ventures from concept to market leadership
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience with regulatory frameworks in emerging tech (FDA, FCC, etc.)
- Exceptional financial modeling for high-growth tech investments
- Certification in technology foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning)
