Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market positioning
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and trend impact assessments
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate future-oriented thinking into product roadmaps and business models
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and geopolitical signals to anticipate paradigm shifts
- Design and implement horizon scanning methodologies to detect early-stage disruptors
- Advise executive leadership on strategic implications of future megatrends
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Innovation, Technology Forecasting, or related field with 7+ years of experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing strategic foresight initiatives for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their societal implications (Web3, AGI, climate tech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Strong presentation skills with ability to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (whitepapers, journals, conferences)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
