Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight framework for $2B portfolio
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, design, and product teams
- Produce trend reports and scenario analyses for C-suite stakeholders
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and DARPA
- Design ethical frameworks for quantum computing and AI integration
- Mentor next-generation futurists through Horizon's incubator program
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in innovation strategy at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published research in peer-reviewed futurist journals
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Deep expertise in emerging tech: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and academic audiences
