Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year innovation roadmaps using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' with engineers, designers, and behavioral scientists
- Develop patentable frameworks for ethical AI governance and human-machine symbiosis
- Produce high-impact foresight reports for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and WHO innovation units
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our Horizon Academy program
- Secure $2M+ annual innovation grants from NSF, DARPA, and EU Horizon Europe
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or Cognitive Science (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in corporate innovation or foresight consulting
- Published author in Journal of Futures Studies or equivalent tier
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ breakthrough innovations reaching market
- Proficiency in foresight tools: Delphi, Causal Layered Analysis, and AI-powered trend forecasting
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, or Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
- Security clearance or ability to obtain DoD SBIR certifications
