Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for product development and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present foresight insights to executive leadership and board stakeholders with compelling narratives
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Design and implement innovation metrics to track strategic initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis frameworks
- Strong proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and AI trend forecasting
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in innovation or future studies (articles, whitepapers)
- Experience with agile methodologies and product development lifecycles
