Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 Technical Support: Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues for remote and on-site users.
- Monitor Systems: Perform overnight server maintenance, patch management, and system health checks to ensure 24/7 uptime.
- Incident Management: Log, track, and resolve IT service tickets using our ticketing system (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow) efficiently.
- User Assistance: Assist employees with password resets, account access, and software installations during evening hours.
- Security Audits: Conduct routine security checks and patch verification to protect company data integrity during off-hours.
- Hardware Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on workstations, printers, and network equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical certification (CompTIA A+, Network+) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in IT Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support roles.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts and weekends.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, troubleshooting TCP/IP networks, and common hardware peripherals.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts.
