Responsibilities
- Architect and execute multi-year foresight frameworks predicting industry shifts through 2026
- Lead scenario planning workshops for C-suite stakeholders to prepare for disruptive futures
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) with strategic implications
- Develop innovation roadmaps integrating sustainability and ethical considerations
- Publish quarterly trend reports and thought leadership in top industry publications
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight insights into market-ready solutions
- Advise on organizational design and talent development for future-ready capabilities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or R&D leadership roles
- Proven track record of publishing foresight research with industry impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or Finland Futures Research Centre)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-oriented strategies
