Responsibilities
- Manage Shipments: Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and perform cycle counts to maintain accuracy in the warehouse management system.
- Carrier Relations: Liaise with third-party logistics providers and trucking companies to resolve scheduling issues and delays.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and operational standards to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies or damages with minimal supervision.
- Data Entry: Update tracking systems and maintain accurate records of all logistics transactions.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or customer service is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturday and Sunday (Full-time hours).
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
