Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily activities including mobility, bathing, and nutrition
- Respond to patient call systems and provide timely assistance during night hours
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans and maintain safety protocols
- Prepare examination rooms and medical supplies for overnight procedures
- Perform basic diagnostic tests under supervision (EKG, phlebotomy training provided)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- No prior healthcare experience required – training provided
- Ability to work weekends and overnight shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or obtainable within first week)
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
- Physical ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and compassion for patient care
