Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during overnight and weekend shifts, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic health systems
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and coordinate with on-call physicians
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with day-shift staff to ensure seamless continuity of care
- Perform safety checks and maintain sterile environments in patient care areas
- Support patient families with compassionate communication during off-hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience or certified nursing assistant (CNA) license
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills for patient and family interactions
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Basic computer literacy for electronic documentation systems
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
