Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future trends into innovation pipelines and roadmaps
- Deliver compelling vision reports and thought leadership content at industry conferences
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and build a foresight analytics team
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of publishing trend analysis or future scenario reports
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend impact assessment methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations
