Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026+ foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead strategic innovation initiatives in AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and sustainable systems
- Present future intelligence to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling narratives
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops for cross-functional teams to embed foresight into product development
- Monitor geopolitical, technological, and societal megatrends affecting our industry and competitive landscape
- Build and nurture relationships with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation ecosystems
- Produce quarterly strategic foresight reports with actionable recommendations for business units
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology roadmapping
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into business strategies
- Experience facilitating executive workshops and presenting to C-suite audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful foresight projects with measurable business outcomes
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
