Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology, economic, and societal trends to forecast 2026+ market disruptions
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Build and maintain partnerships with research institutions and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of human-machine collaboration
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation analysts in trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Technology Foresight, or related field
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial products/services
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (e.g., synthetic biology, AGI, quantum)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020-2025 trend predictions with documented impact
