Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech, space economy) to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks and strategic roadmaps for C-suite executives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, industry panels, and keynote presentations
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into tangible product roadmaps
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight community
- Monitor emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology roadmapping
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, space)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and stakeholder alignment
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, books, patents)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
