Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational vision
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Establish innovation KPIs and frameworks to measure impact on business growth and market positioning
- Forge strategic partnerships with startups, research institutions, and industry disruptors
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of continuous learning and experimentation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of launching products/services with 3+ year market impact
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (whitepapers, journals, conferences)
