Responsibilities
- Lead development of comprehensive 2026 technology strategy roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, and clean energy sectors
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry thought leaders
- Author white papers and thought leadership on disruptive technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and build future-focused capabilities within the organization
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurism roles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of predicting market disruptions (3+ validated predictions)
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite and Fortune 500 leadership
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (TED, Web Summit)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Technology Forecasting preferred
