Responsibilities
- Execute scheduled system maintenance, patch management, and security updates during weekend hours.
- Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts to proactively resolve technical issues.
- Perform critical data backups and disaster recovery testing to ensure business continuity.
- Provide Level 2 technical support to internal teams and troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues.
- Collaborate with the on-site engineering team to plan and execute weekend project deployments.
- Document all technical procedures, incident reports, and maintenance logs accurately.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or technical support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and network infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is highly preferred.
- Mandatory: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills to provide status updates to management.
- Relevant IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA) are a plus.
