Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance to patients (bathing, dressing, mobility support)
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized patient environments
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Complete accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current state CNA certification (or willing to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends (Saturday/Sunday)
- Strong communication skills and empathy
- Basic computer proficiency for EHR systems
