Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring and medication assistance
- Assist with daily living activities and mobility support
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable patient environment
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency protocols
- Participate in weekend team huddles and shift transitions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CNA certification preferred (will consider candidates with healthcare experience)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Basic computer skills for documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Reliable transportation to Milwaukee Riverfront facility
- Flexibility to work alternating weekends if needed
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain
