Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Manage and resolve incoming IT helpdesk tickets during weekend shifts.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of new employee workstations.
- Ensure all office equipment (printers, scanners, network devices) is functioning correctly to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all support tickets and resolutions.
- Collaborate with the full-time IT team to escalate complex issues and implement solutions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in IT or equivalent experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems (Windows/macOS).
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday & Sunday) on a recurring basis.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
