Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues via phone and remote desktop.
- Manage and resolve incoming helpdesk tickets efficiently, adhering to SLA standards.
- Perform preventative maintenance and software updates on workstations and servers.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and peripherals.
- Document all technical interactions and resolutions in our ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the on-call engineering team for escalated issues.
- Ensure a secure and organized IT workspace during weekend shifts.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or system administration.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical users.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and holidays with a positive attitude.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus.
