Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments during weekend night shifts
- Administer medications and perform basic laboratory tests with precision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure exam rooms are fully stocked
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless care delivery
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification with ability to maintain
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse patient interactions
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours during night shifts
- Reliable weekend availability (Saturdays & Sundays 7PM-7AM)
- Strong attention to detail in documentation and medication administration
