Responsibilities
- Supervision & Leadership: Direct and mentor a team of operations staff, ensuring high performance, safety compliance, and adherence to company protocols during weekend shifts.
- Logistics Management: Oversee the end-to-end logistics process, including inventory tracking, dispatching, and route optimization to ensure on-time delivery.
- Problem Solving: Act as the primary point of escalation for operational issues, resolving complex logistical challenges efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as accuracy, speed, and customer satisfaction scores, implementing improvements where necessary.
- Compliance: Enforce strict safety and compliance standards to maintain a secure working environment for all employees.
- Reporting: Generate and analyze weekend operational reports, providing insights to senior management to drive strategic decisions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or warehouse operations leadership.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Outlook).
- Reliability: Proven track record of reliability and punctuality in a full-time role.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Logistics is preferred.
