Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekend logistics operations including warehouse management, route optimization, and delivery scheduling
- Lead and mentor weekend staff (15+ team members) through performance coaching and workflow delegation
- Implement real-time inventory tracking systems and resolve operational bottlenecks
- Collaborate with weekday teams to ensure operational continuity and resource alignment
- Monitor KPIs: delivery success rate, on-time performance, and customer satisfaction metrics
- Develop contingency plans for weekend disruptions including weather delays or supply chain issues
- Conduct post-weekend performance reviews and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years in logistics/operations management with weekend shift experience
- Proficiency in WMS/TMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and route optimization software
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage cross-functional teams
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities in high-pressure weekend environments
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field
- Experience with OSHA compliance and warehouse safety protocols
