Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor weekend shift team of 12-15 logistics associates
- Oversee inbound/outbound shipment processing and inventory management
- Implement weekend-specific operational strategies to maximize efficiency
- Coordinate cross-functional handovers with weekday supervisors
- Conduct shift briefings and performance reviews
- Resolve operational escalations and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Generate weekend performance reports and improvement recommendations
- Collaborate with warehouse management to optimize weekend workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field
- 3+ years supervisory experience in logistics or warehousing
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding KPIs in fast-paced environments
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems and logistics software
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Ability to work independently with minimal weekday supervision
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
