In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of our mission-critical systems. You will work closely with our 24/7 operations team to implement updates, monitor system health, and resolve technical anomalies that occur during off-peak hours.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions with a focus on weekend maintenance windows.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex technical issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Execute automated deployment scripts and manage version control repositories.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and system optimization.
- Document technical configurations, incident reports, and operational procedures for future reference.
- Conduct security audits and patch management activities to protect company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in systems engineering or DevOps.
- Strong proficiency in Linux, Python, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Proven ability to work independently during weekend shifts without direct supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for documentation and team collaboration.
