Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify and analyze emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends through 2026
- Develop quantitative and qualitative scenario models for strategic decision-making
- Produce executive-ready trend reports with actionable recommendations for leadership
- Collaborate with R&D teams to validate future technology viability and commercial potential
- Design and maintain proprietary forecasting frameworks using AI/ML methodologies
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and executive narratives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with future opportunities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, market research, or technology analysis roles
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and quantitative forecasting methodologies
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis software
- Demonstrated experience translating complex futures insights into business strategy
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Analysis (e.g., AC/SCF) preferred
