Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, and climate resilience solutions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-ready business models
- Produce forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership for industry conferences
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-generation products and services
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Advise executive leadership on long-term technology adoption and risk mitigation
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, Innovation Management, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, synthetic biology, quantum computing, or climate tech
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, etc.)
- Strong communication skills for executive audiences and public speaking engagements
- Portfolio published foresight work or innovation frameworks
