Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry think tanks
- Present future scenarios and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and boards
- Oversee pilot programs for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on future trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, technology consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of anticipating tech trends (AI, biotech, Web3, etc.)
- Advanced degree in technology, business, or futures studies
- Expertise in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Portfolio of published futurism work or strategic initiatives
