Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning research to identify and validate emerging trends through 2026-2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology adoption and market positioning
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders with actionable recommendations
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and technological signals affecting industry evolution
- Author thought leadership publications on future-focused strategy
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into organizational DNA
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record of predicting and capitalizing on market shifts
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling capabilities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-focused analyses
- Experience advising Fortune 500 leadership on strategic adaptation
