Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and commercialize breakthrough technologies targeting 2026 market needs
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging trends and disruptive opportunities
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Secure and manage partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior talent in design thinking and agile innovation methodologies
- Drive patent strategy and intellectual property development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in product development or innovation leadership with 3+ in tech/VC/startup environments
- Proven track record launching commercialized technologies with measurable market impact
- Expertise in emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable energy)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Experience managing innovation pipelines and R&D budgets exceeding $5M
- PhD or Master's in relevant STEM field with demonstrated research contributions
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and public speaking ability
