As a key member of our Global Futures Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D pioneers, and venture partners to identify paradigm shifts, validate market opportunities, and incubate ventures targeting 2026+ horizons. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, synthesizes complex signals, and translates future possibilities into actionable frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Foresight Framework through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Produce quarterly Future Impact Reports with quantitative/qualitative assessments of emerging technologies
- Partner with Venture Capital team to evaluate and incubate 2026-relevant startups
- Design and implement organizational resilience protocols for technological singularity scenarios
- Represent company at global foresight forums and publish thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related quantitative field
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, etc.)
- Proficiency in futures modeling tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, System Dynamics)
- Published author or speaker at global innovation conferences (Singularity University, WEF)
- Deep understanding of exponential technology convergence patterns
