Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-generation solutions for climate tech and AI ethics
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Present future scenarios to the board and C-suite for strategic decision-making
- Oversee the incubation of emerging technologies with $50M+ R&D budget
- Drive thought leadership through white papers, patents, and industry conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused culture across the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major industry publications
- Experience leading global teams across multiple time zones
- Deep understanding of ESG frameworks and sustainable innovation
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
