Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via ticketing system.
- Perform routine server maintenance, patch management, and security updates on Friday evenings.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot alerts to prevent downtime during critical hours.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new workstations and mobile devices.
- Conduct user training sessions on new software tools and security best practices.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate with the team lead to resolve escalated incidents.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Valid CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional IT support experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with remote desktop tools, VPNs, and network troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend shifts.
