- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions in quantum AI and biotech fusion
- Present compelling future scenarios to investors and board members
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with proven 5+ year horizon planning
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience securing $10M+ budgets for future-focused initiatives
- PhD or equivalent in relevant field (Systems Engineering, Futures Studies, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating tangible impact from past futurist work
