Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (2024-2026 horizon) and assess commercial viability
- Develop strategic frameworks for integrating next-gen technologies into core business operations
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Build partnerships with research institutions and startup ecosystems
- Create intellectual property through patents and thought leadership publications
- Mentor junior innovators in future technology methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Proven track record of launching technology-driven business initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Innovation
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or implemented futuristic solutions
