Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and administration of Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization environments.
- Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and VPNs.
- Execute server patching, updates, and security hardening during off-peak hours.
- Lead the planning and deployment of IT projects and software upgrades.
- Provide advanced Level 3 technical support and mentorship to junior IT staff.
- Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and proactively resolve potential issues.
- Ensure data integrity and backup recovery procedures are strictly followed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Systems Administration or Network Engineering.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server (2012-2022) and Active Directory.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently during weekend shifts.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CCNA) are a plus.
