As a Weekend IT Specialist, you will be the first line of defense for our infrastructure, ensuring our systems run smoothly from Friday evening through Sunday night. This is a high-impact role with immediate openings for dedicated professionals.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues during weekend hours.
- Monitor system health and performance to prevent downtime and ensure optimal operation of office servers and workstations.
- Manage and troubleshoot printer fleets, VPN access, and email systems for remote and on-site employees.
- Perform regular security patches and system backups to maintain data integrity and compliance standards.
- Conduct user training sessions on new software tools and internal systems.
- Document all incidents and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system for future reference.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or certificate in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in IT support, Helpdesk, or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and basic troubleshooting protocols.
- Flexibility to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
