Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops with R&D teams to translate emerging research into viable products
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen AI and autonomous systems deployment
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for strategic partnerships or acquisitions
- Present future technology scenarios to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for prototyping and pilot programs
- Represent company at global tech summits and future-focused conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AGI, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Experience with ethical AI governance frameworks (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley research institutions and venture capital
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Prior experience scaling technology from concept to market leadership
