Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support via phone, email, and remote access tools during the night shift.
- Monitor network infrastructure and server health to ensure 99.9% uptime for all clients.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate teams when necessary.
- Perform routine system maintenance, patches, and updates outside of business hours to minimize downtime.
- Document all technical interactions, resolutions, and system changes in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless handovers and continuity of support.
- Assist in the implementation of new IT policies and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule, including weekends.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Associate’s degree or certification (CompTIA A+, Network+) is a plus.
