Responsibilities
- Provide tier-2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security protocols on a daily basis.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with the IT team to deploy new applications and updates during off-hours.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all technical tickets and resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies and data protection standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in Help Desk or IT Support roles.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Microsoft 365.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment (up to 25 lbs) when necessary.
- Reliable transportation for local travel within New York.
