Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech insights into product roadmaps
- Build and manage a global network of innovation scouts and academic partnerships
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members with compelling data narratives
- Establish KPIs to measure future-tech adoption and ROI
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (5-10 year horizon)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Experience managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight preferred
